Inner Mount Size: Window shades have about half an inch deduction. Simply select the measured window width size to place an order. For non-integer widths, remove the fraction and use the whole number.

Outer Mount Size: Measure the window outer frame width and length, adding at least 3 or 4 inches on both sides for coverage.

Measurement for Window Blinds & Shades: INSIDE MOUNT: Shades hung on the interior window frame provides a clean look, but ensure there is at least a 2-inch depth. Measure the window length at the top, center, and bottom, using the smallest value. Measure the window height at the left, right, and center, using the longest value without approximations.

OUTSIDE MOUNT: For blinds mounted outside, measure the blind position and add at least three inches for privacy. Measure from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the window sill and add half an inch for light control.
